Bus Ministry

• Why Have a Bus Ministry?

The Bible says, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” (Luke 14:23). We realize that some people (especially children) are unable to attend church on their own. Since 1983 we have made a way for these people to come to church.

• How Does the Bus Ministry Work?

Every Sunday morning we send buses to pick up people in our area and bring them to church. On the buses they are supervised and taught by a friendly “Bus Captain” Upon arrival at the church they will be escorted to their age-appropriate class. After church is over, we load up the buses and take everyone back home.

• How Much Does It Cost?

There is never a charge. The church absorbs all the expenses of this ministry.

• What Happens on the Bus?

Our Bus Captains and their assistants work hard to make the program on the bus – to and from church – an exciting time of songs, Bible lessons, contests and promotions.

• Where Do the Buses Run?

We have two routes: one to the Evans area (the village of Angola, Point Breeze, and Farnham) and one to North Collins.

• How Can I Ride the Bus?

If you are in our area, we would love to pick you up! Give us a call at 992-2091, and we will send a bus for you this Sunday.
